From Anaheim card shops to Rarity Hunters
Before Rarity Hunters, I was a collector and trader like a lot of you. I spent my weekends at card shops around Anaheim, played locals, and made the trip to regionals at the Anaheim Convention Center, for Pokémon and Yu-Gi-Oh! both. A lot of my trading happened online too, in the card trading community, where a good deal usually came down to knowing what was out there before anyone else did.
That part never got easier. The high-end cards, the ones collectors actually chase, are scattered across thousands of listings. Finding them meant scrolling past ungraded copies, bulk lots and low-value listings before you ever reached the slabs worth seeing.
So I built the page I wanted back then. Rarity Hunters shows one thing: PSA-graded Pokémon and Yu-Gi-Oh! singles listed on eBay at $1,000 and up, fixed price, in the US, highest price first. You can filter by grade or by card details like 1st Edition, Secret Rare and Full Art, or jump straight to a Pokémon by name. Every listing shows when we last checked it, and anything we haven't confirmed recently comes off the page.
A few things worth knowing:
- Rarity Hunters doesn't sell anything. Every card is an eBay listing, and every purchase happens on eBay, under eBay's terms.
- As an eBay Partner, we may earn a commission when you buy through our links. It doesn't change what you pay, and nobody pays to be featured; listings appear in price order only.
- Listing details come straight from eBay. Always check the listing, including the PSA certification, on eBay before you buy.
This is just the start. Right now the site focuses on the high end, but we're looking to open it up to the cards people actually play with too, so players building a deck can use it as much as collectors chasing a grail.
